Join Peace Kitchen for a facilitated dinner at Yum Sing House where we will dive deep into how it feels being a migrant in Australia.
Is there such a thing as an Asian identity?
How do we practice our cultural heritage in a multicultural country like Australia?
How might we navigate feelings of imposter syndrome?
People of all cultures are warmly welcome as the discussions will be relevant to people of all cultural backgrounds.
This event will be facilitated by Dr. Elaine Pratley, Director of Peace Inc and Rotary Peace Fellow who did her PhD in food and peacebuilding.
Come enjoy good food and meaningful conversation in a warm space with old and new friends (and perhaps stay for a session of karaoke upstairs afterwards).
